Wouldn't it be great if...?

Wouldn't it be great if all the worlds religious leaders found out that having was a sin? ANY AT ALL I mean? So that al the followers either had to continue to have in which case they'd probably eventually denounce their faith or be excommunicated or else they'd obey and eventually die out?
