Hosting Badminton Tournament - first time, what to think about?

So my badminton club wants to host a tournament, but most of us are intermediate players, so we have never really held a tournament nor been to one. Theres older players that arent part of our club that could help out, but im wanting to know what things should I think about when holding one? We have a place, and i am going to look up hotels around the area. We are wondering how we should do the brackets..like have 18-30 together, 40+ together, 50 + 60+ etc? we are thinking about having levels too, A,B,C levels for advanced - beginners.. what other things are there to a tournament? I guess thinking about the fee..or how many days. =( any ideas on how to set one up?
