Why did the US invade and occupy Afghanistan for 8+ years?

The Truth is we wont ever know. we can only speculate! but my thing on it is, it creates depopulation, headaches, pissed off people, riots, arguements, loss of sleep, apetite, confusion and all the bullshit that goes with it....it is all done deliberately for god knows what reason. Maybe it's misdirection! Hudini was great at that!
