My 2000 Ford Ranger stalls out.?

It first stalled a week ago on the way home. I restarted and made it two blocks to my home and left it sit waiting for a good time to bring it in to a shop. Now it can start, but stalls out with in about 15 seconds. Any advice. Air filter is good, not sure about fuel pump or fuel filter. Anyone with similar issues on 2000 Ford Ranger (4 cyl) engines?
