Christians, I'm wondering what you would do in this situation?

First I would verify that the person your hubby was asking the question, received and understood the situation. Second, Since we don't know the nature of the question, it's difficult to determine why the responder may not have wanted to comment....third, it's quite possible that something your husband said struck a nerve with the responder...like, if he noted someone was living together and was not married...or something in that realm..
