Do you think that he likes me???????????

ok. one day this guy walked by and poked my shoulder. i turned around and saw him smiling and blushing at me as he walked away. i thought that he liked me then and there. then he didnt do that for a few months and i really didnt care because the guy is kinda weird. i am just curious. so i got my freind to go and ask him if he liked me. he said no and i was like okk and i just left it alone and got all consumed in the everyday drama of high school. then i was at my locker one day and he did it again. this time he walked away he winked and blushed. still smiling. he never asked me out though. in cl sometimes i see him looking at me but when i look he looks away really fast. i got asked out a few times before by other people and he has liked me all school year but never asked me out. so i am not sure if this is all in my head or if he is just shy or what is going on. plz help me
